As most of you know, the daily Lunarshade Stones were removed in the most recent patch -- they had been moved into the VIP Rewards section, which was removed in this patch. We know you all want to keep getting your free daily Esper Energy, though, so we've got you covered.

From now through midway through next week, we'll be distributing a daily code for 5x Tornahowl Essences. These will provide the same amount of Esper Energy as the daily Lunarshade Stone. Go to jd.perfectworld.com/redeem and use this code -- we've set it so that a bunch of people can use the same code, but can only be redeemed once per account.


Next week, we're hoping to add the Lunarshade Stone to Facebook Connect. This isn't a guarantee, yet -- there are a number of things that could change or delay that plan. In the meantime, the daily code will fill the Esper Energy gap nicely.

Today's code is WRXPY2X. I will be posting it on Facebook as well, and adding it to the in-game broadcast rotation, although that will only be once every two hours. Please feel free to distribute this code to everyone you know in-game, because there's no way it'll run out of items to give -- you don't have to worry about losing items because other people are redeeming them.


Please note:
1) If you have already redeemed the code, you'll get an error saying that this code is already redeemed. No, we didn't run out of items -- please check your in-game mailbox, it's already been sent to you.
2) Some characters have had issues with getting coupon code items. We experienced this earlier. If you run into this, please PM me here and we'll do what we can.
3) If you have some other error, please let me know. This is a new technology for JD, and although Rusty Hearts has used it without issue and we've tested it thoroughly ourselves, this is the MMO business and weird stuff happens sometimes.

Hmm... Interesting. That said, this is a poor solution given that the old quest could be gotten once per character. Guess gotta work with what you've got.

I also find this to be a poor solution. Lunarshade stones take up one (1) slot, equivalent in Tornahowl essence will take up five (5) slots.

Not everyone has bag space for this. Even though Tornahowl's have no expiration dates like Lunarshade's do, a lot of players don't have the money to spend on expanding their bags.

Trail...can I just ask WHY didn't you just distribute a code for a daily Lunarshade stone directly rather then 5 tomahowls that don't even stack? And moreover, only for one toon per account? ...................This solution could have thought out done A LOT better.

Just like everyone has said so far, we don't always have the bag space for this.

For instance, why not use something that already exists like the Token Shop? You're allowed to get gifts for each toon in your account if you have enough tokens. However, just configure it so that you can only get one Lunarshade daily for each toon in your account, and make it free.

Maybe even put the free daily Lunarshade in the Prestige point system, with the same concept I said as token shop. Maybe Prestige points is even better since you can't gift lunarshade to other people there anyway.

If that doesn't work, why not create something along the lines of "online VIP rewards system" for the website. Except, exclude Serenity jade fragments, telepathy gems, and rice paper.

All it takes is a bit more effort and your heart and soul! ^^

It's not right that Zhu Xian gets to have the Lunarshade daily + Holy Gift daily in their VIP system, while we not only got ours removed, but on top of that, less convenient replacements.. Isn't the point of a maintenance to improve the game's quality and stability? This wasn't a maintenance, this was downgrade.........

I'm not angry at this, I'm just sad on the effort level that's been expressed lately by PWE

Well,...time to waste electricity by leaving this game on 24/7 just so I can get the same amount of lunarshades that I used to get when that quest was still there......
