Alright, need some advice/opinions on this farming/pvp build. Any and all advice will be taken .

I'm wanting to go for all the fuwa incense mage's skills to get the second version of them, but this is probably the best I can do without using a jaki.

Edit: As you can obviously tell, this is without chroma. I do have intent on getting my mages chroma started asap just don't know how far a stack of chroma beads will take me yet .

i might get rid of gaurdian and shining star for flame soul and another move to make use of the points

In T4 Fire Hell isn't really that great, it eats up so much sp yet has very little damage output. Flame Soul, Fire Protection are both decent skills if used at the right time. Without Fire Protection, Flame Mountain gets weakened greatly so Fire Protection should have at least one point in it. Fire Splash only needs to be at 4. It shouldn't really be used until you start grinding Nanwu grinding, combined with Jadesun Inferno, it will restore your sp (Like a mini prot I guess you say xD). There's still lots of points leftover if you want to get Guardian.

As for the tomes, I would suggest getting the Nanwu cooldown tome and I chose to leave out Seamless because it seems like it's only meant for pvp purposes. Also I added 3 points in the Burning Tome, this would further increase Nanwu's damage, making it even more powerful and plus increase the chance to burn mobs (Which is nice xD)

Right now I'm asc 114 on my mage and shes killing 1k mobs an hour with Fire Slay, Flash and Pyroessence for skills. No esper skill though. With that I'm using probably around 300 or so 105 sp pots an hour and maybe 30-40 hp box pots per hour.


Anyone else looking at this thread feel free to add input to Elijah's build as well .

this is my edited version of the build you had provided me there are so many spare points for pve since you only really need the main offense skills, i may even take some points from fs once i get fs to and retome

My bad on that one, kinda wasn't paying attention lol. To me it looks good :P. Although I'm hoping to hear more advice since I'm fairly new to mages myself. I ascended into a mage from a jadeon so I'm still learning them .

i got my mage from lv 25 to 55 in a day though its not much im getting there when i get back on, cave of fangs grinding drops so many etheral gears with fs

Question though, if you don't add to Guardian, how much does that affect your Dragonfire? And why Guardian? It's useful for as a defensive array.

My build is a slight different from both of yours (which is also nothing like my current build lol).

And is maxing out Meditation that necessary?

To test that I have no clue :P. I do have plans on using a Jaki Stone once I do have my affinity skills. I might have Guardian around but I have no clue yet since I'm mostly going to be farming for a bit. DukeDolph I know lurks around the forums, he has a fuwa mage I might go ask him :P.
