Esper A-Red

There are mainly three types of esper:

Taoist Esper (仙家法宝): the most basic esper use by normal disciple. Material are normal, has a little more spiritual power than usual weapon.

Nine Skies Weapon (九天神兵): craft by material from nine skies, but because it's craft by human, it still has its limit. A lot stronger than Taoist Esper

Bloodsmelted Esper (血器). It can not be use other than its own master, because there is the owner's blood within it. It is dangerous to craft. The materals are also extremely rare.

Aeolian Firmus (天琊)
Owner: Anan
Material: Steel from heaven
Shape: Sword glowed with blue light
Element: Unknown
Spiritual Strength: A legendary esper that battled Elder Blackheart eight hundreds years ago. Crafted by Dead Heart Master. For some reason, it disappeared and reappeared eight hundreds years later in the Bamboo Height.

"Black rod"

Spiritual Strength: As strong as Sinister Orb. No one knows its background....yet.

"Brown sword":

Shape: A normal sword with brown light

Spiritual Strength: Common earth esper.

Spiritual Strength: It is not very deadly, but it is not for killing in there first place. Normal esper can not cut through Celestial Rope. The reason it is called Celestial Rope because it design for traping cultivators.

Material: Unknown
Shape: A sword with soft green light all over
Element: Unknown, perhaps metal
Spiritual Strength: As a Nine Skies Weapon, it is unquestionable strong. Always strike forward and never look back. Master Vasp Caelo gave this esper to Baye.

Earthen Fan (山河扇)
Owner: Lin Feng
Material: Unknown
Shape: A fan with many landscape drawing on it.
Element: Depend on what it summoned
Spiritual Strength: Quite powerful. It is from a well known cultivator Old Fengyue. Because of uncle and nephew relationship, Lin Feng obtained the Earthen Fan.

Lvl 75 Non-faction esper
Can be obtained in Market place for 15 Jaden.
Damage: (4%+60)xskill lvl
+1% AP every 11 character lvl - skill lvl
-Adds additional damage equal to 1%xskill lvl of owner's current Health and Spirit.
-Has a 3%+3xskill lvl chance to prevent the target from using potions for 3 seconds.

Fang (狼牙):
Owner: Cynical Dialectian
Material: Maybe a wolf fang?
Shape: Animal fang, with weak yellow light
Element: Earth maybe
Spiritual Strength: OK I guess...not pretty strong, especially after being cracked by Shaw Danon's fire stick.

One of the missing esper in Blooddrop Cave.

Spiritual Strength: Well known esper in Jadeon. A perfect match for his wife's esper, Dark Snow.

Spiritual Strength: Not sure, rarely seen using it. Will get larger in combat, normally put in pocket, or use it as a gambling tool.

Heartending Flower (伤心花)

Material: Unknown
Shape: A jade white flower
Element: Unknown
Spiritual Strength: Strong for a Taoist Esper. It can fire at enemy with its petals, or block with a white wheel, or it can charm enemy with its fragance.

One of the mandatory quest item.

Inferno Mirror (玄火鉴)
Owner: Fox Spirit, Shaw Danon
Material: Unknown
Shape: A small brown mirror with a fire mark in the center, two red threads tied on the sides of the mirror.
Element: Fire
Spiritual Strength: Comparable to the legendary Regenesis, able to summon Wasteland Dragon if the cultivation is high enough.

Jade Prayer Beads (碧玉念珠):

Shape: A sling of jade greed beads.

Spiritual Strength: Very strong. It can calm the owner's mind. The beads can also break and form mantra.

Shape: Small golden bell

Spiritual Strength: Unknown, but the ring of the bell seem able to cheer up people. Used to be used by Lady Jingling. After she died, it was stored in Blooddrop Cave. However eight hundreds years later, Bilu found it.

Orb of Luck (轮回珠)

Spiritual Strength: A pretty famous esper. Fazzan never really fight with it though.

Phoenix Soul (琥珀朱绫):

Shape: Long red silk that can extend infinite

Spititual Strength: Quite high, well known in Jadeon. Crafted by Surin, Hidi's mother, later gave it to Hidi.

+1% AP every 10 character lvl - skill lvl
-Causes a Paralyze effect for 3 seconds with a strength of N.

-When the owner's current Spirit is above 95% of their Max Spirit, this skill deals additional damage equal to 12% of the owner's Attack Power

Poison Blood Banner (毒血幡):

Shape: A blood red banner.
Element: Death
Spiritual Strength: The more people it killed, the stronger it gets. When activated, it formed a ghost like face by using the energy of the dead.

Shape: A silver white sword, pretty similar to Kevern's Frozen Ice, sadly it is not as strong

Spiritual Strength: Common ice esper. Broke by Anan during Seven Peaks Tournament.

Sinister Orb (噬血珠):
Owner: Shaw Danon
Material: Unknown
Shape: A dark purple orb
Element: Death
Spiritual Strength: A legendary esper of Felkin. Crafted by Elder Blackheart eight hundreds years ago. Later it was found by Pozhi in a death swamp. Before Pozhi died, he handed the Sinister Orb to Shaw Danon and told him to destroy it. Shaw Danon thought it was the only thing master Pozhi had left him, so he did not want to throw that away. Because the seal to the Sinister Orb had broken, as it was about to kill Shaw Danon, a mysterious black rod appeared and fought against Sinister Orb. When Sinister Orb tried to absorb Shaw Danon's blood to increase its strength in the fight, Shaw Danon accidentally bloodsmelted the Sinister Orb with the black rod, later it became the "fire stick".

Spiritual Strength: One of the strongest Taoist Esper. Defenive esper, can reflect any attack, as long as the owner got the energy to use it as well as the cultivation level meet. Using it will never loss (but doesn't necessary going win), it can protect anywhere except from below.

Spiritual Strength: An advanced Taoist Esper. Much stronger than common disciples' espers.

Shape: Sword glowed with purple light.

Spiritual Strength: Able to help Issa get to top four, that mean this sword is above average. Issa never really fight much.

Despite her wounded condition, she insisted to find Shaw Danon. But without any choice, her allies forced her to return to Mount Jadeon.....

Shaw Danon's childhood friend. A very talented person disciple. With straight forward and righteous nature, he always want to revenge for his village.

Esper: Heartending Flower
Daughter of the powerful Vim Archlord. She met Shaw Danon at Sunstream and got into a little conflict with him. They met each other again at Forsaken Abyss. Because of the Abyssal Viper, Shaw Danon and Bilu were trapped inside the Blooddrop Cave. In the Blooddrop Cave, she found the Lupin Bell and the love poem left by Lady Jingling and Elder Blackheart. Shortly after, Shaw Danon fell ill. Bilu tried all she can to take care of Shaw Danon. During the days inside the Blooddrop Cave alone with Shaw Danon, Bilu herself noticed she began to have feeling toward him....
Bilu found herself "ran" into Shaw Danon again. Together with Onara, they investigated the Dark Drake Cave. But something strange happened. The Lunar Well, a well that can reflect one's most desire, what can it be......

He was once a powerful cultivator. Elder Blackheart strengthened Bloodforger, and that time was the most glorious moment of Felkin. He was missing after Felkin lost the battle against the side of the good. His dead body was found inside the Blooddrop Cave, with a poem on the platform he was sitting on.

One of the elders of Jadeon. He was the referee for Shaw Danon's second round and fourth round during the Seven Peaks Tournament. He also scolded harshly at the disciples when they admired Anan's beauty.

A monk from Skysong. His appearance was quite fierce.

A young monk from Skysong. He seem to be really interested in Shaw Danon.

A monk from Skysong, same rank as Fazzan and Fashan, but look a lot older.

Foxero Loa/Six-tails Fox Demon/六尾魔狐:
Faction: Race of Fox Spirits, known as Arden in JD.
Esper: None
A fox demon in the Dark Drake Cave, he questioned Shaw Danon about the term "survival of the fittest", when the Incense attacked the cave, Six-tails Fox Demon asked Shaw Danon to throw him and Three-tails Fox Spirit in to the lava, and gave Shaw Danon the Inferno Mirror before he died.
The Billows The Billows (-456, 123) Normal NPC.

Foxero Sly/Three-tails Fox Spirit/三尾妖狐:
Faction: Race of Fox Spirits, known as Arden in JD.
Esper: Inferno Mirror
A fox spirit, she seemed to be very curious about what Shaw Danon saw in the Lunar Well, later when Incense attacked the cave, she killed herself with Inferno Mirror so she could stay with Six-tails Fox Demon until the very end.

Fusoir/Pozhi/普智: Divine Monk
Faction: Skysong
Esper: Jade Prayer Bead.
One of the Skysong Divine Monks. Ranked in third. He found Sinister Orb in a dead swamp, later passed it to Shaw Danon and told him to destory it after the battle with the mysterious man in the black. He also taught Shaw Danon one of the Skysong powerful incantation: Fawin Wisdom.

Esper: Landscape Brush
Fourth disciple of Bamboo Peak. He is smarter than most people at Bamboo Peak and likes to read.

Hidi/Tian Ling'Er/田灵儿:
Faction: Jadeon
House: Bamboo Peak
Esper: Phoenix Soul
Daughter of Tian Bolis. She was consider as a prodigy in Jadeon. Hidi treated Shaw Danon as her little brother. However, she did not know Shaw Danon actually had feeling toward her. She often broke Shaw Danon's heart by mentioning Kevern.
Jadeon Dark Bamboo Grove (-197, 401) Normal NPC

Issa/Cengshushu/曾书书:
Faction: Jadeon
House: Peak of Wind
Esper: Xuanyuan sword
Son of Ceng Shu Chang. He was very talented, also had high knowledge about many things. Issa sometime may seem a little filthy when it is comes to woman. He always wanted to obtain Shaw Danon's pet, Ashh. But no matter how hard he tried, Shaw Danon did not trade Ashh for anything. And beside, Ashh found Issa annoying anyway.
Jadeon Crystal Hall (123, 189)

Jade Leaf/Qing Ye/青叶:
Faction: Jadeon
House: Peak of Widows
Esper: Regenesis
The eleventh generation of Jadeon. He was gifted and filled with protential. A legend of the cultiavtors. Master Jade Leaf help strengthed Jadeon and allowed it to have present day position, became the leader of all.

Jiang Lao San/姜老三:
Faction: Vampire
Esper: A small red trident
The only disciple of Vampire. He was killed by Shaw Danon when he tried to suck out Shaw Danon's blood.

Kevern/Qi Hao/齐昊:
Faction: Jadeon
House: Dragon Head Peak
Esper: Frozen Ice, Union Mirror
One of the top disciple of Jadeon. He had wide range of friends, trust deeply by elders, and very good cultivation skill. Kevern and Hidi can say they are "love in first sight".

Lady Jin(g)ling/金铃夫人:
Faction: Lupin
Esper: Lupin Bell
Founder of Lupin. She was a talented woman in Felkin. When her heart was broken by Elder Blackheart, she left a poem on the wall in Blooddrop Cave.

Lin Feng/林峰:
Faction: None
Esper: Earthen Fan
A relative of the Old Fengyue. He helped Bloodforger on stopping the Jadeon, but it was an obvious fail.

Li Su/Li Xue/李洵
Faction: Incense
Esper: Unknown
A disciple from Incense Valley. He was extremely arrogant. Li Su seem like Anan. however.
Incense Valley Hall of Surverys (-234, 254) Normal NPC

Liu Gao/刘镐:
Faction: Bloodforger
Esper: a yellow sword.
One of the Bloodforger disciples.

Fifth disciple of Bamboo Peak.

Main character of this story. When he met Pozhi the night everyone of his village were killed, Pozhi taught him Fawin Wisdom and gave him the Sinister Orb, told him to destroy it. Shaw Danon and Baye later was adopted by Jadeon. Shaw Danon was sent to Bamboo Peak. Because of luck or not, Shaw Danon bloodsmelted the Sinister Orb and a black rod by accident. He also obtained a pet-Ashh. During the Seven Peak Tournament, he made a new friend Issa. Issa taught Shaw Danon a lot of thing, and that is when Shaw Danon learn about Anan. One night, he saw Hidi was secretly meeting with Kevern. Shaw Danon's heart was broken, but due to the sorrow in his heart, it raised the energy of "fire stick", allow him to made to top four in the tournament. At the battle with Anan, Shaw Danon was heavily injuried. Luckily his master Tian Bolis saved him. However, after Shaw Danon recovered, he was taken to Crystal Hall for interrogation. Thank to the help of Tian Bolis and Master Shui Yue, Shaw Danon was saved and not punished. Just right after the interrogation was over, he was sent to Cave of Fangs alone with Kevern, Anan, and Issa. At Cave of Fangs, they met Skysong disciples Fazzan and Fashan, and Incense disciple Li Su and Yanon. After much fighting inside the Cave of Fangs against the Felkin Heretics, Lin Fang used Earthen Fan and summoned a burst of river. When Shaw Danon was falling into Forsaken Abyss, Anan tried to save him, but she ran out of strength and fell into Forsaken Abyss alone with Shaw Danon. In Forsaken Abyss, they met Bilu, Negar, and other Vims. Luckily or unluckily, Abyssal Viper was awaken, caused huge chaos inside Forsaken Abyss. Shaw Danon and Anan were forced to separate. When Shaw Danon fell on the ground unconscious, Bilu pulled him into a cave, but the entrance of the cave was later blocked by fallened rocks, trapped Bilu and Shaw Danon inside the Bilu. Bilu discovered the cave was the "Blooddrop Cave" and found a way to enter it. In Blooddrop Cave, Shaw Danon found the "Liburis" while Bilu found the Lupin Bell. Due to injuries, hunger and exhaustion, Shaw Danon fell ill inside the Blooddrop Cave. Without a way out, and with Shaw Danon fell ill, Bilu and Shaw Danon were doomed to be dead inside the Blooddrop Cave.....

Chinese Culture, Taoism, Buddhism

Respect

I know respect is in every culture, but respect is rather more important in Eastern Asian. It can cost you being jail in your room from one day, to completely lost your life. Title and rank is very important since it shows how much authority you possess. Title is sometime given base on ability, or given base on age. By the mean of ability, it includes economic ability of' course. But since Zhu Xian does not have much economic problem, we can throw that away.

As you read Zhu Xian, sometimes you will see titles such as shixiong, shidi, shimei, shijie. They work like titles such as junior and senior. Different thing is, the Chinese titles also included gender. Gender plays a major role in society. In a clan, people treat each other like a family. Xiong means older brother, di means younger brother, jie mean older sister, mei mean younger sister. You will also encounter titles like shu, bo, or zhi. Shu, like you may also noticed it in Amandla's Chinese name, means uncle. Bo also means uncle, but with higher ranking. Zhi on the other hand, means nephew.

Any disrespect within the faction can cause you to be jailed in your room for years, or even expelled from the faction. With higher ranking, you can basically do whatever you want to the lower ranking, just because you are older, while the younger ones will not have much say.

Any dishonor will not be allowed, as you can see how much Tian Bolis cares about it. But there is one exception, that is if your elder breaks any rule. You can dishonor them in this case. Chinese care about the common good over individual good, perhaps that is why they choose communism not democracy.

Measurement

Currency measurement is easy if you played the game. Bronze, silver and gold. Different thing is, one thousand bronze equal to one silver. While silver can exchange into bank note, gold is not determined by its amount, but its weight and size. Gold normally will not be used as currency.

In China, one yard equal to ten feet, unlike in America which is one yard equal to three feet.

The timing is also different. Chinese use relative timing. Which is base on how fast an incense burn out or time for a pot of tea to cool down. China has twelve hours, instead of twenty-four. The twelve hours are base on the twelve Tiangan. Which are Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, Hai.

Taoism

Taoism focus on nature and how things work. If you look deeper into Taoism, they are very much like Chemistry. Since "religion is not to be discussed", I will just take about some basic belief.

Taoism does not focus on deities, or god. They are like the alchemy of Europe. Thank to the Taoist, they invented the firepower and you got all those people killing each other at WW. Taoism have the idea of law of conversation of energy. And also everything originally came from one. Pretty similar to everything start off as hydrogen and blah blah. No energy can be created or destroyed, and the energy within the system and outside must remain balance.

Five elements are metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Each gives birth to each others and each suppress each others, to keep this world remain balanced. The picture of the five elements looks like a star inside a circle. Similar to some western stuff.

Other than belief, Taoism also has teaching in virtue, benevolence, respect, honor, and loyalty with the elements of balancing energy. An example....Book of Way and Virtue chapter 2: "People know what is beautiful is because of the existence of ugly. People know what is good because of the existence of evil. So existence and emptiness give born to each other. Hard and easy form each other. Long and short contact each other. Tall and short rely each other. Tone and sound combine each other. Front and back connect each other. This is eternity. So philosophers use ignore to response, use silence to teach, allow things to flourish without create. Help others, but not bias to self, achievements do not give to yourself. Because you do not have it, you will never lose it."

Taoist martial art focus on Chi. Chi is normally consider as soft martial art. You will see Taoist use pushing instead of punching. Sword art is also elegant. When Taoist fight, they focus learning the flow of enemy's energy and use it as his own.
