# 1 THE Modo pvp build.

Alright for starters I will make this a bit different from others by incorporating pets. The fact is they are an indispensable advantage in pvp for a modo especially when dealing with certain classes.

I will explain the specifics and prove dagos modos arent all Kangba spammers and skyseekers, just the people who dont know how to pvp do that.

It's effective at times but not efficient being that it takes luck for the skyseek kiting to work.
Here is a list of pets signature skills showing why I value them in pvp.
http://jd-wiki.perfectworld.com/inde...gnature_Skills

Modo + Netsun PVP:
Flesh Burn x3 sure shot kill: As part of your 4 freebies asc skills you get thwart demon and aegis of sand. Depending on the situation you can burn these off all at once to take out many targets at once using a Netsun pet in this order:
http://jd-wiki.perfectworld.com/inde...#Nestun_Skills
#1 Send the lvl 150 Netsun pet on the target or targets. At lvl 150 the netsun pets signature skill will remove 99% SP from 4 people nearby.

#2 Be fully charged in demonic form already, I recommend using the combo buttons to make this easier for you so you dont screw up and hit the wrong key.

The moment your netsun pets SP drain hits charge onto your target and or targets and:
Step 1:Thwart demon x 1
Step 2:Aegis of sand
Step 3:Flesh burn
Step 4:Thwart demon again which is refreshed by aegis of sand.

if they are still alive after this, it is likely they have no more than 5% health use whatever skill you can the fastest such as secluded beating just to finish them off. If it is mass pvp this method will finish off several people at once if you follow it with kangba.

If they survive this they are likely spamming batteries in which case you shouldnt be using this method on that target.

Which brings me to Rule number 1. Know your enemy. If they are a heavy cash shopper with a massive ego that wont allow them to die without their world crumbling around them. Chances are they are spamming batteries + macros at all times. You will have to use the following method and hope the fasting lands.

As a dagos modo you will have asc dagos skills one of which is called Beyond the gray sky. It is a 50% chance to fast your target and has decent range. If you're dealing with a battery spammer use this method upon initial attack:

Step 1: Netsun pet sp drains targets
Step 2: Charge in beyond gray sky, thwart demon.
If you dont notice a fasting icon on your target before hitting aegis of sand use Smash blade. Another 50% chance to fast for 8 seconds
Step 3: Whether you see fasting or not aegis of sand at this point and if no fasting smash blade again then thwart demon then flesh burn.

Chances are 3 50% chances one will land a fast. If it didnt land the first time it is likely this method wont kill them but the target will have no SP and will be unable to attack you and their skill accuracy will be down 25 from the thwart demon.

After that ideally expend your secluded beating which can 1 shot many people if you're fully charged but at the same time it debuffs them and gives you a fast run speed buff if you need to get away to recover.

Otherwise I recommend kangba spam at this point to keep their SP down and if you have a full compliment of ascended skills I'd recommend silencing them with Day of Remembrance then recharging restrained and so on to do a big crit with kangba to ensure their death.

Keeping them silenced will prevent invincibilities or them retaliating while you change and they regain SP.

If this fails and your target is too dangerous to stay in close range, then and only then resort to kiting. For kiting I recommend having skyseeker on your Esper and using one of the following pets. Also dependent on the class you're fighting.

If it is a vim or celan it is recommended you keep a netsun pet up and refresh its signature skill by esperating and fusing and use it whenever they get close to prevent them from attacking.

To allow your pet to attack them before they can get into attack range of you. hit the pet Halt button and send it to attack when they get near the pet. At that point charge in and seeker them while they cannot attack you.

Ideally make sure to have stun and para immune up to avoid getting stunned/para'd by a vim then GSed and receive PMs from them about how uber they are at pvp.

Modo + Terro PVP:
http://jd-wiki.perfectworld.com/inde...s#Terro_Skills
Alright Terro pet pvp is strictly for kiting targets that are too dangerous to get near. These would be the one shot classes, celans, vims, jadeons and lupins.

When facing one of these and they have superior gear to yours kiting is inevitable. Chances are you wont survive a one shot class if you let them in range and do not have invincibility of some sort or major damage reduction or in the case of some factions major skill evasion.

As for the netsun pet trick. The use of the halt command is quite handy as well as esperating and fusing and releasing to refresh its signature skill.

As you are kiting "running" in modon form which I dont recommend staying in, use para resist and stun resist any chance you get when it refreshes and only be in modon when you're ready to attack.

It will also throw them off so they arent expecting skyseek because you're in human form.

Step 1: Halt pet between you and the opponent
Step 2: Send Terro pet to attack with signature skill only follow with others after but dont risk it casting the wrong one first.
Step 3: Once you see the movement of the target has stopped and they are indeed paralyzed with a 150 Terro it will last 15 seconds. Which is a very long time.
Step 4: Skyseeker them if you haven't already.
Step 5: Spiritual charm and hope for fasting. Tomes + charms help alot with this. Feel free to stack snake bind on them too for more bleeds. If they do not die from this. Wash and repeat.
Step 6: If they died, gloat and tell them how much they suck.If they didn't, tell them anyway as you continue to kite so they try to reply instead of potting

Modo + Auris PVP:
http://jd-wiki.perfectworld.com/inde...s#Auris_Skills
Another pet if you've invested tons of money is the Auris pet at lvl 150. With this pet you would utilize 2 skills. It's signature skill and a skill that must be at lvl 90+ where the money comes in.

Auris is good in pvp either way because it stuns your target and 3 others at lvl 150 for 5 seconds.

Using the same kiting method as you did with the Terro pet use the auris and it's signature skill to stun your target then land skyseeker. Once you see that their health is ticking away have the pet cast lvl 90+ provoke. It has a 25% chance to fast them. Simply kiting your target with this method will almost guarantee their death...eventually lol.

I personally don't like drawing things out and playing the SOC 500 like most felkin and fuwa modos. This is Jade Dynasty not Jade DyNASCAR.

Other than that I can only recommend a pvp build for dagos modos.

Most of them have gone half modon max human.

The fact is this is somewhat of a crappy setup considering the vulnerabilities of human form.

Demonic tomes provide many more benefits such as more critshield and more damage with your charging buffs and longer lasting ones at that.

With the introduction of chroma non felkin modos using skyseeker are very ineffective at this point. Something I realized long ago when skill evasion got ********.

I am fully tomed human and demonic, which provides me more damage and HP and defense in the form of critshielding, Using this tome setup + BG Gear my health in demonic form has increased greatly allowing me to do far more damage with a charged secluded beating being that it is based off of your max sp/hp total.

Using this it will allow you to hold off classes you normally could not get close to and tank them until they've blown their 1shot skills, some anyway. It all depends on your opponent.

With good gear it is fairly easy to even tank a lupin as a modo. Just make sure their invincibility isnt up and the moment they try to attack you:
Step 1: Smash Blade
Step 2: Secluded beating
Step 3: Thwart Demon
Step 4: Ghost of the wronged
Step 5: Pot at a moderate rate and laugh at the lupin who cannot kill you with RD 2 because it wont crit or do enough dmg to you.

At this point if he casted Ancient prayer the most effective way to kill him off is change to modon form and skyseek him. That or just kangba or use the thwart demon netsun method which will do alot of damage if he didnt heal after casting AP.

Kiting method is one of my favorite ways to waste the batteries of people I do not like. It is not a fun pvp method for me. It is rarely my intention to kill if I skyseek you. It is mostly to put a dent in your wallet Have a nice day.

This is my build although I have more skill points/tome with chroma levels.
I use a masters charm for bloodstained oath to save me from needing to waste that one extra point into it. It is more than sufficient otherwise.http://jd.pwdatabase.com/pwi/calc/Mo...224122w3y20223

I enjoy this PvP guide the most. I haven't seen any as indepth with using pets in PvP. Many people just choose Magmas for Extinguish or Luna for Essential Spirit r90.

Some of the other guides I've seen are just people posting their builds and expecting us to know what to do after giving a single combo chain of skills and saying "rinse, wash, repeat".

10/10 for your guide.

LOL that is only if you are stuck and cannot move, a situation where you are para'd.

You can ask several asc 146+ dagos lupins. I have tanked them quite easily using that method. Most hits miss and the ones that dont wont do enough damage because secluded beating reduces their critstrike 100%.

Please learn more about modos before speaking.

As I said kiting them is preferable. This isnt a flame thread if you want to witness this I can arrange it on Billows.

Or simply try it for yourself. I expect and apology when it works out for you.

P.S. Before you claim something is stupid, at least learn how to spell properly in your flame or you lose credibility.

.
How about to change into Demonic Posture and use Secluded Spring, and change back, should go fast, since you got the Charm for Bloodstained Oath.
Im hiding behind an Alt. Your Argument is invalid.

Skill Evasion is there to create imbalance. If it wasn't for that, they could just leave it out of the Game.

Not everyone is tomed for secluded spring to remove para.

Also para is just one instance, slow is a more likely chance when it comes to a dagos.

Meaning no escape, you'll have to face them down if you cannot remove it in time.
