*Credits go out to chromezero who found the build, and credits also go out to Rika who translated the picture into English for us.

*This build was adapted from the original chinese versions http://bbs.zhuxian.wanmei.com/viewthrea ... a=page%3D5 and http://bbs.zhuxian.wanmei.com/viewthrea ... a=page%3D7

For a PvP build you can visit here http://jd-forum.perfectworld.com/sho...901#post229901

Heres your PvE guide:

A small description for Modo.

Modo is a demonic type class meant to be destructive by the time you hit lvl 95 (which is your nice stun skill). And by the time you hit lvl 150, Modo IS (I have tested this in both the Chinese and Malaysion versions of this game) guaranteed the dominating class by 150. It just takes time and patience to properly learn the ways of the Modo.

First of all, you must learn that there are different forms for Modo, each form with their advantages and disadvantages. The very first transformation you get is one of the most useful transformations you will get, it is a demonic type transformation that is a more defensive transformation (which believe me, it will be your best offense at higher levels). If you get your build right (if you follow this guide accordingly) then eventually you will get a nice boost of 2k+ from this transformation.

There is also the "Parasitic" transformation (which is your 2nd transformation) is more of an offensive transformation. The downside to this one is that it actually decreases your defence by a lot. It is more MP based, it buffs your MP and magic atk skills, but decreased alot of your defence. And since initially Modo have low defence, lowering it even more might not always be the best idea. However, if you follow this build accordingly then you can easily cope with this transformation.

This point here is very important, whether people know it or not, Modo is actually even better at tanking than the actual tanking warrior class in this game. If your gear is good enough, and you do your stats properly, you can have a very nice defence.

**NOTE For beginners if you can not figure out where to find the Mr. Gho for the initial Novice> 1st Tier job advancement, you must first travel to Jadeon (from the 1st town sun or whatever) then after Jadeon you must head to the town of Skysong, then after Skysong you must head to Doom Bog. He is located a little bit north west from the village in Doom Bog. The technique to actually getting to him without dying, is you must walk up behind him when there are no monsters around. Talk to him quickly, advance your job and get out of there asap Make sure you have 2 inventory spaces available or else you can not finish the job advancement.

Ok and that is the basic introduction of Modo.

If you have feed back, great. Thanks for reading guys ^_^

The build is nice, however since it's a PvE build i don't get the point of this build...because it's meant for very high levels (PvE builds should be lvl 1-150 to level faster imo, reskill to PvE at level 140+ seems pretty worthless unless there is some raiding or actual high end PvE in this game)...else you can't follow the guide at all (that goes for your PvP build aswell), you need to spend points on other skills because you need level 120+ or even 140+ to follow both of your Modo guides. You should rename the tittle to..."this is how your build should look like at lvl 140+ when you reset your skills" hehe.

Both PvE and PvP builds seems to be very good, but it's too early to be able to follow any of these guides at this stage, however i take note so i know how i'll use skill points after i reset my skills at high level if i ever get there

Thank you for the guides.

What was this thread for when there's a more usefull threat about Modo builds?

Sorry I didn't read at all.
If this thread is about something else then just tell me...Because as the tittle say it's just another guide for skills and there's already one. (Which is pretty usefull)

The guide could be different in terms of skill allocation and PvE/PvP wise. (this is a PvE guide of course).

By all means, you don't have to follow this particular build, you can always follow a different one or make your own. This is just a guide of reference.

The only way to do that is to get items from the item mall place and then go to he skillsmith.

explain me one thing :

Modon is bleed damage based, mainly.

Elite mobs are highly resistant to that. if not completely.

How can you state this build as PVE though ?
i can see the point for this build for a party pvp char, but for PVE O.o
